Jackson Hole, Wyoming

We stayed one night in Jackson and then returned on Wednesday to play some more! Duane is very busy right now with hunting season going on. That is good. Melissa is very busy with her new hair salon. We got our nails and toes done. Awe....So pretty. We had so much fun with Maddy! She is so cute!

Playing with Grandma Judy and Grandpa Larry

Our plane came in on Thursday. Bryce spent one day with Donalee and Corinne in Lehi. Then Grandma Judy and Grandpa Larry came on Friday to take us to Grace, Idaho to Grandpa Allen's viewing. Grace is where Grandpa Larry grew up. This is where Bryce met Melissa, Maddy and Duane. After the funeral, we stayed the first night with Melissa, Maddy and Duane in Jackson.

Meeting Melissa, Maddy and Duane

Bryce met Melissa, Maddy and Duane for the first time! Maddy played so cute with Bryce! She is such a good cousin. She got all of her toys out to share with Bryce. She told all her friends that Bryce "was cute because he was her cousin!"

In Loving Memory of JL Allen

Grandma Helen Roper Allen and Grandpa JL Allen left behind Larry R Allen, Kaye Watkins, Lisa Parker, Heidi Russell, and Debbie Moffat.

Adam Watkins put together a video of Grandma and Grandpa. They are videotaped speaking of their memories of their childhood, dating and growing up. This played at the viewing. It was so wonderful! It captured their laughs and personalities in only a way that a video could. Grandma was telling a campfire poem about her little lost kitten. Grandpa told about his experiences in the Navy and how at times they were only given an orange for lunch. Grandma also had done her Geniology and had written stories of their courtship. Grandpa said that he only would "only go with the prettiest girls." They truely loved each other and they loved their families! At the funeral, Larry spoke of Grandpa's integrity and how it was so important to Grandpa to always "keep your word." Grandma went to BYU. Grandma and Grandpa were married in the Salt Lake Temple. Grandma and Grandpa went on a mission to Seattle, Washington. We are very proud of them and grateful for the examples and lives they lived. We love you Grandma and Grandpa Allen!

Meeting Grandpa Don and Grandma Gurt (Dalene)

This was Bryce's first time to meet his Great Grandparents. He loves them! Grandpa Don has a beautiful garden. I ate some of his delicious tomatoes, peaches and raspberries.... Yum! (These are Brock's Mom's parents.)

Grandma Donalee and Aunt Corinne

Grandma Donalee came to pick us up at the airport. We stayed the first night with her and Aunt Corinne in Lehi, Utah. That is where Brock grew up.

Airplane Ride

Leavin' on a jet plane.
Don't know when I'll be back again....

Bryce's first airplane ride was from Knoxville to Washington DC to Denver to Salt Lake. It was a long day that started at 3:30 in the morning. Bryce was such a good boy on the plane! Thank goodness!
